When a player picks up an injury, it can sometimes keep them out of competition. PlayerPulse scores availability as "if there was a training or a game today, could the player participate in it?".
Once an injury has been added by either the coach or the player, availability should be updated next.
To update availability, navigate to the Status bar and select the Availability Node from the menu screen.
Tap the +New Unavailable Period button to update availability
PlayerPulse will ask for the following information
The period of time where the player is unavailable for
Why they are not available (Injury / Illness)
If the availability change is related to an injury
If the change is related to an injury, tag the injury it is related to
Once entered, the overall availability score will change. This metric is based on 90 days, so it will continue to update as time goes on.
